Albania

Travelling through rural Albania, I met people whose warmth needs no translation. A donkey that refuses, children on a bus, three generations in one garden — small encounters, big stories.

In rural Albania, hospitality is not a gesture — it is a reflex. Doors opened before we knocked. Coffee appeared before we sat down. And everywhere, people let me photograph their daily life with a generosity that humbled me.

A farmer laughing at his donkey that simply refused to walk. Children pressing their faces against a bus window. Three generations gathered in one garden. Small encounters, big stories — that is Albania to me.
